To Watch
My greatest TV love lately has been Real Housewives of New York. Are any of y'all watching this season? I'm practically dying over all the LuAnn/Tom drama, and tbh I don't even like LuAnn. The season started out a little slow but now it's really picked up and I'm so sorry it's over! On my to-watch list, though, is Stranger Things; am I the only person left who hasn't watched it? I'm a die-hard, lifelong Winona Ryder fan so I can't wait to start bingeing.

To Read
I mentioned recently that I got Lauren Conrad's book Celebrate for my birthday and I read the whole thing in like two days. She has some really fantastic ideas for food and decor and some great tips for party planning. This book is great for anyone from the reluctant hostess to the professional event planning (like me) and I seriously love it. Also, it could make a great gift for any friends who love to throw parties! Also, if you're feeling more... Intellectual? Try this.

To Listen
Idk if it's the new teasers coming out for the next American Horror Story or what, but I'm having a major Lady Gaga moment right now. My favorite of hers is You and I - she really nails the rock/country vibe and it's such a step outside her typical MO. I love her as an actress but I love her music too! Also, have you heard the new Florence + the Machine single? It's everything you'd hope for and more if you're a fan of hers, so check it out!

To Eat
I love Asian food for my birthday, so this year I decided to make my own! I really wanted low-sodium and low-cal, so I chose two relatively healthy take-out alternatives: Kung Pao Chicken with green beans from Fit Foodie Finds and fried rice from Creme de la Crumb. Both of them were easy, relatively quick, healthy, and DELICIOUS. My parents and Will are already asking for me to make them again, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to!

To Buy
I think my recent J Crew post sums this up pretty well.

To Laugh
Me looking at Sarah Andersen's comics are basically an endless loop of me just saying, "Omg same," but my boyfriend sent me this one the other day and - guess what? - omg same. Check out her comics if you haven't, they're hilarious, cute, and always relatable.

To Wear
New fall nail polish! If you've followed Braid&Butter very long, you know that I'm all about nail polishes, and it's basically a natural high for me to walk into my local beauty store and see all the new colors on display. I put on a fresh coat of Essie's Island Hopping today and I'm obsessed. It was a gift for my birthday and I've been dying to wear it, and it didn't disappoint!

To Inspire
Setting goals! I've decided that I'm going to use my first post of each month to set a couple of goals that I hope to accomplish (or at least wok on) over the coming 30 or so days. Obviously this will start with my Friday post so look forward to that. In the meantime, think about some goals you have and write them down so you can think about them this month!
