International Women's Day

I love International Women's Day, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a woman. It's just such a cool and important day and I've loved hearing all woman-fronted bands on the local radio station and seeing important and influential women being spotlighted all over social media. In the spirit of the day, I thought I'd spotlight a few of my own favorite #womancrushes and make a playlist to keep you dancing all day. Here are some picks from some of my favorite bands, along with a few classics thrown in for good measure. Hope you enjoy.

If you're looking for even more woman-centric music, check out bands like La Luz, Sleater Kinney, Bully, and others like them that are fronted by really talented and influential women in the music scene. There's some great music out there that sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves, so keep listening to music and supporting the artists who create it, and support some amazing women in the process!
